Barn Dance

We just got back from my son's school Barn Dance.  We had so much fun.  We did a fundraising photo shoot and it was a huge success and brought in some extra money for the PTA!  Thank you to every one who contributed to the event.

Senior Shoot

Today I worked with Stephanie for her senior photos. She is a basket ball player so I was going for a sports look with this image.
 

This weeks Picture Friday shoot was of a local singer/songwriter Daniel Kamas

Daniel is a talented local singer/songwriter and a good guy.  We did his photoshoot off of Hwy 18 close to I90.  Make sure to check out his video at the end of this post.

The Hicks

This weeks Picture Friday shoot was the Hicks family.  We had a fun time doing doing the shoot at Dumas Bay in Federal Way.  It was a beautiful day!

Back from Memphis

I've been out of town for two of the last three weeks.  Last week I was in Memphis for a seminar.  On the last night I was able to go down town to show some photographers some of my lighting techniques.  We had a great time shooting and ended up in a dark alley with some rather large rats.  There are a lot of good people (and food) in Memphis.

Busy Month and Lots of Rain!

May was a very busy month for me and I was unable to get any Picture Friday shoots in due to my schedul and weather.  I did a shoot on Thursday and I thought I'd post a few of the photos.

May 7th Shoot today with Erinn

April 30th Picture Friday Shoot

Last Friday I had the pleasure of photographing baby Sean for Picture Friday.  Sean's dad is out to sea so him mom was wanting to have photos taken for Sean's dad.  Sean was great and a very cute little guy!

April 25 Picture Sunday!

We'll I haven't been able to do a picture Friday for several weeks now so we did a Picture Friday/Sunday shoot today with my buddy Brian.  Brian is also a photographer so we had a good time messing around with lighting setups and his motorcycle.

Bad weather

Due to bad weather I have a couple Picture Friday shoots that have been delayed.  This week and next week I'm trying to get these two shoots rescheduled so I'll be holding off an any new Picture Friday shoots until we're caught up.  Keep checking back.  I'm looking for the next Picture Friday shoot person so send in your requests!

March 26th Picture Friday Shoot

March 12 Picture Friday Shoot

We'll I was set up to shoot our March 12th Picture Friday selection and she was a no show.  We'll my buddy Gallager had come over to help with the shoot so he ended up being the Picture Friday model for March 12.  We played with some head shots.  Click here to see other photos from the shoot.

The March 19th Picture Friday shoot selections is.....

The March 19th Picture Friday selection was Stephanie. Here is Stephanie's message. "i'm a Junior i was looking for good deals for senior pictures, but all the ones i find are over $200 dollars and isn't something i can afford right now. It will be a great blessing to have photoshoot and a pictures to remember my senior."

March 5th Picture Friday Shoot

I was in Wenatchee for the March 5th Picture Friday shoot and I'm blessed to have some good looking family members over there. My brother Scott was willing to model so we had fun taking some photos with his chain saw. I'll have a link to more photos from the shoot later so keep watching.

Whoops!

I made a mistake! March 19th I'll be celebrating my wife’s and my 10th anniversary and I'll be out of town. We'll still do a shoot for March 19th Picture Friday but the actual shoot won't be on March 19th. We'll work out a date that works for whoever is selected for the March 19th Picture Friday shoot.

"I would love a chance to get either both or one of my children photographed. They are 2.5 and 10 months old. I am 21 years old and a full-time college student. With that being said getting my childrens pictures taken it a luxary. I would love to have something to charish for years to come."

February 26 Picture Friday Shoot

Last weeks Picture Friday shoot selection was Aarti.   I met Aarti in Renton last Friday and we had a really fun shoot.  Aarti was great and very relaxed and a pleasure to work with.  She is a Naturopathic doctor so if anyone is looking for a Naturopath let me know and I can put her in touch with you!

First Model Selected

Thanks to everyone who emailed me. I have selected the first model to photograph for Picture Friday. Her name is Aarti and we'll be doing a shoot in Renton on Friday. I'll post some photos from the shoot over the weekend so check back. I'll be heading to Wenatchee next weekend so I'll be looking for someone to photograph on the east side of the mountains next week. I'll be back here the following week so if you’re interested shoot me an email with a photo.

I've been in contact with some makeup artists. If you’re interested in having a professional do your hair and makeup for a shoot let me know and I'll put you in contact with a few names. I'll post some names and contact information on the blog in the next few days.
